Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarships 2025/2026 for Foreign Students (Fully Funded to Brunei)

The Government of Brunei Darussalam is offering fully funded scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic session to international students interested in pursuing Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate Master's Degree programs. These scholarships are tenable at institutions including Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB), and Politeknik Brunei (PB). 

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Requirements: Applicants for Undergraduate and Diploma programs must be between 18 and 25 years old, while those applying for Postgraduate Master's programs should not exceed 35 years of age by July 31, 2025. 

Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is required, with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or a TOEFL score of 550. 

Scholarship Benefits:

Tuition Fees: Full exemption from tuition fees, including acceptance, examination, registration, and orientation fees. 

Travel Expenses: Provision of economy class airfare to and from Brunei Darussalam. 

Monthly Allowances:

Personal allowance: BND$500.00

Meals allowance: BND$150.00

Annual book allowance: BND$600.00

Accommodation: Provided at the residential college of the respective university or polytechnic. 

Baggage Allowance: Assistance with shipping personal effects upon program completion, up to BND$250.00 for ASEAN countries and BND$500.00 for non-ASEAN countries. 

Insurance: Comprehensive coverage for the duration of the scholarship.
